Wow, summer is almost over already. School starts back in a month. I am so excited about starting cosmetology school that I can't wait! I will hopefully have my license this time next year and will be starting back on the teaching degree next fall. I had to have a break. I don't think I want to do elementary anymore. It's not enough of a challenge. I am thinking I might want to do Jr. High algebra. OMG me + algebra = disaster (usually). The more I think about it, the more excited I am. I think that would also allow me to minor in music like I want. Aww heck, I might as well just skip all that and become a band director right? Well I'd love to, but there are so many unemployed music majors right now, and I don't think the situation will change in the next few years. It might change in 10 years or so, but not now.

I think I will die if I don't get to do Lionette one more year. I miss it so much. I need one of my fellow dancers to come over and make me practice like the Lionettes used to. I remember that kept the weight off! I think I miss performing most of all. The curly hair, sparkly uniforms, the way the moves just clicked into place as if you'd done it your whole life and it was a second nature like breathing, the excitement of YOUR feature, the sky high kicks, and the EXCITEMENT of it ALL! (Now I have to put in the '06 dvd and dance along with it when I'm done blogging)

Ah, what is it with EVERYONE on facebook? I mean celebrities, friends, people under 35 is ok, but not your conservative great aunt jo, or your grandmother right? If you add them as a friend then that means you have to go back and delete nasty posts and pictures that you wouldn't want them to see. On the other hand, its very rude to ignore their requests. What to do? I mean, I don't mind some of my family being "friends" with me on fb, but their is some part of my life that I want to keep from them, and no amount of limited profile is going to keep them from seeing it....

And lastly, I'm having surgery on the 16th to have my tonsils taken out. I have never been more excited about losing a body part in my life. I am crossing my fingers about this helping me stay healthier and not become sick every time I finish a medicine. The doctor we are using is Dr. Lockette out of Tuscumbia, Alabama. He has a great personality and manner. He is young (and handsome) and very up to date with new procedures. My brother used him when his throat closed up on him a few years ago, and my dad used him a few months ago to have his sinus surgery, so we like him.

I need to get off the computer and clean house! I think my dishes things are growing things! J/K!
